«Gold And Other Coasts» on show

For the first time, «Gold And Other Coasts» was shown to a larger public in the artist’s home town as part of the local art days – Stäfart. The solo show took place in the vaulted cellar of a 18th century winemaker’s house, while the main image of the series, 8428 Mérigny, was exposed in the festival centre.The venue was accompanied by artist talks and a guitar performance. Photobook dummy of Gold And Other Coasts (second version)
In a multi-stage condensation and selection process, 60 images are identified from a larger body of work and arranged in a sequence that follows the logic of leafing through a book. The explanatory text provides the intellectual framework in order to better anchor the imagery and at the same time expand its scope of meaning. More about the project here.

Photobook dummy of Arthur’s Universe – The Flotsam Of A Life
The images of Arthur Rüegg’s private collection were made in several sessions since summer 2023. In a multi-stage editing and sequencing process, some 90 of them were identified to be arranged in a cinematographic line: A visual journey through the house that follows sometimes an associative, sometimes a thematic pattern. Book-making workshop with Raymond Meeks and Adrianna Ault
Photographic workshop Repurposing And The Artist Book with Rayomond Meeks and Adrianna Ault and the support of Israel Ariño, LaBabuch, Mérigny, Indre (F). Selection, editing and sequencing process of a body of work of some 750 images, accumulated since 2018. The combination with the long term project Famliy Photo resulted in the photo book dummy Gravitational Pull.

Concept for the long term project Family Photo
Conceptualizing the long-term photographic project to document the growing of the artist’s family. Formally, the setup is planned to be the rigourously the same: The parents and the child (with room for more) are sitting in always the same order on the family sofa. Nobody else to be present.
